Sunday October 31 , going around the Salento peninsula with my wife came to Ugento.
I wanted to see the country during the Second World War my father had been a military .
It was almost lunchtime and I asked a group of people directions to a good restaurant, a young man showed me the Al Duomo restaurant not far from where we were at that time. We went there but it was locked.
Meanwhile I stayed to watch the closed door of the restaurant with a little 'of despair there came the young of the first car that had been around to make sure that we were unable to find the place.
Realizing the situation I pointed out a new solution to the sea at Torre San Giovanni ( "If you do not mind the shape eat from god" ).
After a good meal we returned to the inn indicated Ugento wanting to go to Tauranga but while following the road signs we were a bit 'lost and found again in the center of the country. Another request to another young man who tells us " follow me with the car that I bring to the street right .
Two episodes marginal but perhaps indicative . Welcome to South .
