[How To] Change MAC Address

Hello,
now explain how to quickly change the MAC Address of a network adapter on Windows 7 (but the process is very similar with older versions)
  1. Right-click on "Computer"
  2. Click on "Manage"
  3. Go "Utility System -> "Device Manager"
  4. In "Network Adapters" select the tab for which you want to change the MAC Address
  5. Right Button then "properties"
  6. select the tab "Advanced"
  7. C'ercate the item "Network Address"
  8. On Check to enable the right to write the new MAC address
    (Council starting with the mac 'OUI of the brand of your card, explain better later)
  9. Click ok
  10. be disable the card (or restart) to make the changes

OUI or Organizationally Unique Identifier:

consists of the first three bytes a MAC address (ie the first 6 digits) and uniquely identifies the manufacturer of Ethernet device. For example, in the case of a Realtek card (like mine) is 00E04C;
then a MAC Address for a network card Realtek brand must be the tip 00: E0: 4C : XX: XX: XX

Why change the MAC Address?
In my case I had to change the MAC address because I had trouble with the Netgear router DGN3500, which gave me the error "invalid MAC address, enter it again" when trying to add your computer to static IP table.
